Yoga Pointe Teacher Training
Yoga Pointe, Inc, 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Program
Yoga Alliance approved
We are currently accepting applications for Yoga Pointe's teacher training program. We have moved back the start of the next cycle to begin in JULY 2012. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
Teaching Philosophy
Our philosophy of teaching is inherent in our yoga classes and teacher training program. We emphasize individualized learning, experiential methods, and student centered approaches all cultivated within an atmosphere of creativity, flexibility, and compassion.
Program Description
Yoga Pointe’s 200 hour program is approved by the Yoga Alliance, meeting their rigorous standards for a yoga teacher training program. It is an intensive course for those wanting to deepen their understanding of Yoga. It is also geared to prepare students to teach yoga and practice safely, successfully, and compassionately. We will cover many of the physical, philosophical, and scientific aspects of Yoga.
Yoga Pointe aims to break free of any ritualistic or dogmatic approach by introducing many styles of Yoga, therefore we are teaching a ‘multi-style approach’ which includes, but not limited to, Integrative Yoga therapy, Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hot, Restorative, Partner, and Children’s yoga. With this foundation, you are given a range of possibilities for the creative teaching of Yoga from which you can develop your own vision of teaching.
You do not have to be a teacher, nor even desire to become a teacher to complete this program. You only need a desire to root deep and grow. With this training and experience our yoga practice will reach new heights as you become more grounded and peaceful through this ancient practice.
